A program called ShadowShopper is making its rounds online and we wanted to make sure that you are all aware that you should never pay a fee of any kind to join, belong to , get assignments from or anything else when it comes to shadow shopping (aka.. secret shopper, aka….. mystery shopper… they are all the same thing.)
When performing assignments you will generally either get merchandise or a payment, generally not both.
When looking at some of these companies trying to pull new clients in….. and you are the new client…. not the businesses that you are suppose to be surveying, keep in mind……… IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE - IT PROBABLY IS
If in doubt, always google their name and variances of their name online and check out any complaints.

Quite true. I’ve never been asked to, nor wanted to, pay someone to become a shopper. There are many, many companies out there simply accepting applications. There’s no need to hire a “go between” when Google is your friend!
