Online Shop Class – Mini Lesson
We Thought A Little Class On The Topic OF Online Shopping Would BE Helpful…..

This is a GREAT EXAMPLE of the way a DEAL can happen online…
We wanted to buy 3 items at the Disney Store, totalling $60……
We started out by googling Disney store discounts and Disney store codes. In the 1st five hits was a code good for 10% off just by typing in a code( a sequence of numbers and letters). Then we went to EBATES.com , and started by typing in Disney store in the search bar. That is the store WE WANTED TO GO TO. We clicked on the store and at the top of the Disney store page THEY HAD A DISCOUNT good for free shipping on all orders over $75.
Remember OUR ORDER IS $60
WE GET 10% from the online code we found -$6
Shipping is $9.95 OUCH
SO ……….. We GO BACK and add some stuff
We now have $77.99 in our cart which is over the $75 minimum but it is not applying the shipping discount along with the 10% off discount
so we delete the 10% off code and the FREE SHIPPING IMMEDIATELY SHOWS UP
So we have a total order of $77.99 plus tax NO SHIPPING DUE
NOW we ADD BACK in the INTERNET CODE we FOUND
and IT APPLIES IMMEDIATELY AND ACCURATELY , DEDUCTING $7.80 straight off the top.
Making my TOTAL $70.19 plus tax with 2 extra items added with extra value of $17.99 AND WE GET 4% BACK from EBATE.COM totaling $2.81
SO Now OUR Total Was $69.95 included shipping fees for 3 items totaling $60
Now We are paying $70.19 NO SHIPPING DUE for 5 items totaling $77.99
FOR $ .24 we were able to purchase $17.99 worth of merchandise and this is not including the added benefit of the CASH BACK from Ebate.com
